Portal Sandbox Blender Dimension Guide

Use Blender Dimension in Portal Sandbox with the official F-before-entry order, a clean portal test, and careful beta troubleshooting.

To use Blender Dimension in Portal Sandbox, press F before entering a portal. This order is written directly in the official experience description. The description does not state the destination, effect, cooldown, duration, reward, or failure message, so judge those details from the current live build instead of guessing from the name.

Use the three-step sequence

First prepare or identify the portal you intend to enter. Second stop outside it and press F. Third wait for any visible or audio feedback, then cross. Keeping the three moments separate makes it possible to tell whether the input happened before the transition.

Do not rush through the portal and press F after the screen changes. That reverses the published order and cannot prove the action is broken. If you are practising for the first time, choose a quiet area where another player is unlikely to push, damage, or distract you during the sequence.

Separate Blender from the Portal Gun

The Portal Gun is listed on T; Blender Dimension is listed on F. Use T to reach the portal-tool state, then follow the current UI to prepare the portal. Use F only when you have chosen Blender Dimension for the next crossing.

This distinction matters during troubleshooting. If the tool never selected, start with the Portal Gun guide. If the portal exists but the Blender result did not appear, check the F timing, visible pre-entry feedback, and server state.

Observe the result without inventing it

Before pressing F, note your current location, health or state, selected tool, and visible portal. After pressing, note any change in UI, sound, color, label, or effect. After crossing, record the destination and whether a return path is visible. A single clean observation is more valuable than a general claim copied from another game.

The name “Blender Dimension” does not by itself prove damage, death, item loss, a fixed destination, or a special reward. Those possibilities need direct, current evidence. The official public text only confirms the action name, key, and before-entry order.

Troubleshoot a failed Blender attempt

Close chat and menus so the keyboard input reaches the game. Confirm you are outside the portal. Press F once, wait briefly for feedback, and then enter. Repeat the same short sequence away from PvP. If it still fails, rejoin once in case the current server or tool state is stale.

If the portal itself cannot be entered, test a normal Portal Gun crossing without F. If normal travel works but the Blender sequence does not, report that distinction. Include the device, current action label, exact order, and visible result. Do not include passwords, email codes, browser cookies, or other private account data.

Mobile and controller use

The developer says the experience supports all devices except VR, but the public description publishes keyboard letters rather than a touch or controller diagram. On another device, find the action labeled Blender Dimension and use it before entry. Do not guess that F maps to a particular controller face button.

On touch screens, check whether a portal, tool panel, or other interface covers the action. Record orientation and visible button labels if the layout overlaps. That creates a useful beta report while keeping the official action sequence intact.

Use Blender in a planned route

Know your starting landmark and intended portal before choosing Blender Dimension. If the crossing changes your destination, mode, inventory, or tool state in the current build, identify a return route before repeating it. Avoid stacking R Dimensions, F Blender Dimension, and rapid portal inputs until each action can be recognized separately.

The How to Play guide shows how to choose between portal practice, freeroam, PvP, and adventure-style exploration without inventing mode rules.

Blender Dimension questions

Do I press F before or after entering?

Before. The official description explicitly says to press F before entering a portal.

Is F the Portal Gun key?

No. The current official list assigns Portal Gun to T and Blender Dimension to F.

Where does Blender Dimension go?

The public official description does not name a destination. Observe the current game and avoid treating a community guess as an official route.

Does Blender Dimension have a cooldown?

No public official cooldown was found during the October 29 check. Any current timing needs in-game verification.
