The current official Portal Sandbox controls are T for Portal Gun, E for Regenerate, F for Blender Dimension, R for Dimensions, X for Mech Blaster, and V for Robo Arms. The developer also gives one crucial order condition: press F before entering a portal. This index keeps that current snapshot separate from older pages that still list Knife or Laser Pistol.

Checked October 29, 2026: these action names come from the official experience description for Place ID 75108253383447. Exact effects, cooldowns, mobile buttons, controller bindings, and portal rules still need current in-game observation.

Use the list as actions, not promises

The official description confirms a key and an action name. It does not publish every operation after selection. For Portal Gun, it does not state which surfaces accept a portal or how many can exist. For Regenerate, it does not state an amount or cooldown. For Mech Blaster and Robo Arms, it does not publish damage or input sequences.

Start by confirming that the named action appears. Then follow the live UI and visible feedback. This keeps a guide useful across beta changes and prevents a tool name from becoming an invented mechanic.

The Blender order is different

Blender Dimension is the one control with an explicit sequence. Press F while you are still outside the portal, wait for the current feedback, and then enter. If you cross first and press later, reset and try the listed order before troubleshooting.

Keep T and F conceptually separate. T is the Portal Gun action; F is the Blender Dimension choice before entry. Selecting the gun does not replace the Blender step, and Blender does not prove that the Portal Gun itself changed.

Resolve the old control conflict

Some community pages captured an earlier list with Q for Knife and X for Laser Pistol. The official experience description checked on October 29 instead lists R Dimensions, X Mech Blaster, and V Robo Arms. Treat the older list as a dated snapshot, not an alternate binding that is guaranteed to remain active.

If the live game visibly offers an older action, record the server and UI rather than mixing both lists into one definitive map. Beta servers can differ temporarily, and a creator may change a description before or after a deployment. The official current snapshot remains the safest public baseline.

Mobile and controller controls

The developer says the experience is compatible with all devices and excludes VR. That supports availability, not a specific button diagram. Touch players should use the action label visible on screen. Controller players should inspect the current prompts and Roblox menu. Do not translate T/E/F/R/X/V into guessed face buttons.

When reporting a device problem, name the device type, action label, screen orientation when relevant, and visible button behavior. “Regenerate button covers another control on a phone” is more useful than “E is broken on mobile,” because a touch player may not use the keyboard key at all.

Troubleshoot an input in five checks

First close chat and any text box. Second confirm the correct tool or state is selected. Third move away from a portal transition or crowded fight. Fourth repeat the shortest sequence once. Fifth rejoin a current server if the state remains stuck.

For Blender, include the before-entry order. For Regenerate, include whether there was anything visible to restore. For Portal Gun, include the target surface and any rejection feedback. For Mech Blaster or Robo Arms, include whether the action appeared and which next operation failed.

The game is labeled beta, so a repeated issue is possible. Never use an executor, unknown browser script, or account credential as a troubleshooting step.

Build a clean practice order

Start with Portal Gun and one returnable crossing. Add Blender Dimension as a separate before-entry decision. Test Regenerate when its result can be observed. Open Dimensions and read the current choices. Finally, learn Mech Blaster and Robo Arms one at a time before combining them with movement or PvP.

This order is not a power ranking. It simply moves from the game’s defining travel tool to a special portal sequence, then recovery, destination choice, and combat tools. Use the Beginner guide for a complete first session and Tips for beta troubleshooting.
